Daniel Lee Funk Obituary CORRALES, N.M. — Daniel Lee Funk, 72, of Corrales, New Mexico, died on February 21, 2026, his family announced.
Funk completed what loved ones described as his “final earthly journey” and entered eternal rest after a period of declining health. He was surrounded by family at the time of his passing.
A resident of Corrales for many years, Funk was known for his steady demeanor and dedication to his family. Over the course of his career, he worked in roles that reflected a strong commitment to responsibility and service, earning the respect of colleagues and friends.
Born in 1953, Funk spent much of his life in the Southwest, where he built lasting ties within his community. In retirement, he remained active in local activities and valued time spent with family and close friends.
He is survived by his spouse, children, grandchildren and extended family members.
